    • What is the role of the supporting characters? Provide extra comedic support Help create situations Add diversity with an episode focusing on them Build relationships with the main character Extra info – sometimes the supporting character can gain so much popularity that they have their own spin off e.g. Frasier from cheers.
    • Who are the transient characters can someone tell me what do I mean by these words? Celebrities In and out Dimension Publicity Extra info - transient characters have been known to have more airtime and steal the limelight from the main characters as they become the focus for that episode.
