  2. 2. Objectives: <ul><li>To be able to effectively put together your ‘film storyboard’ </li></ul><ul><li>To show knowledge and understanding of the effect of your shots on an audience </li></ul><ul><li>To understand the term ‘representation’ </li></ul>
  3. 3. AQA GCSE Media Studies COURSEWORK EXAM 4 Pieces. For one you plan & create a media production. The other 3 can be written or practical or a mixture of both One ‘timed test’ (3 hrs). This will be on And you will get some info beforehand 50% 50% 120marks 100 marks

Practical Task: <ul><li>Work in your genre groups </li></ul><ul><li>You are going take a series of photographs which will run as a sequence from a film in your chosen genre </li></ul><ul><li>You need to think carefully about framing, camera shot, lighting, props, and who or what we see </li></ul><ul><li>These should show your understanding of genre codes and conventions </li></ul>

Task: <ul><li>You are going to arrange your photographs into a storyboard sequence using the display paper </li></ul><ul><li>You are then going to add notes about: </li></ul><ul><li>Music or sound effects </li></ul><ul><li>Transitions (look at your Film Language sheet) </li></ul><ul><li>Type of shot and what effect you wanted to have on your audience </li></ul><ul><li>Camera movement and why </li></ul><ul><li>Lighting – what effect would this have? </li></ul><ul><li>Any other notes to explain to us what you were trying to achieve in your sequence </li></ul>
