  2. 2. Baby ElephantsA baby elephant is called a calf. A new born elephantweighs about 110kg. It is covered in hair.Baby elephants stay in the group until they are aboutten years old
  3. 3. The TrunkAn ElEphAnt’s trunk is rEAlly A nosE. thEyuse their trunk to drink. They breathethrough the trunk. They also use the trunkto break branches and to pick up food.
