  • The Inbox contains new and unfiled messages All Mail archives all sent or received messages
  • Labels help you organize your messages into categories Labels can be organized into categories/ sub-categories
  • Select the message(s) Select the label icon Select the label(s) to apply or create a new label

  • The Settings menu allows you to customize your Gmail experience Each tab contains several options
  • With Conversation view ON, when you delete an email you also delete all sent items related to it Send & Archive will send your reply and archive the original message by moving it to the All Mail folder

  • Groups are distribution lists. Any Group you create is private to you; groups created by MICDS are available to every user.

  • Click on an empty space in Month view or in the All Day section and select the Task option. A task’s due date can be moved by dragging
  • Add a new task, name it, and edit the details Set the due date and add notes
  • Notice the task is added to the top of the Task List and the original email is attached
  • Click the Untitled document field to rename the file The document auto-saves every time you make a change
  • Click the Upload icon and select the file(s) to move to Drive Decide if you want to convert the file into a Google format
  • List of who has what type of access Invite people by email address Choose the level of access then Share and save
  • Open the calendar event you want to edit Click Add attachment
  • Navigate to the document and click Select
  • Documents you create/own; synched to your PC Documents others create/own; NOT synched to your PC Simultaneous editors: YES Simultaneous editors: NO
