ATP's Chores/Functions <ul><li>- high energy released by breaking bond btw. 3 rd and 2 nd phosphate groups (hydrolysis) ATP -> ADP </li></ul><ul><li>- hydrolysis of ATP powers 3 types of cellular work: mechanical, transport, and chemical </li></ul><ul><li>-Cellular respiration: make ATP </li></ul><ul><li>- found in every cell of the body (plant+animal) mitochondria </li></ul>

Three reasons why I would be a good parent (how it supports your life would be a good start) <ul><li>I would be a good parent because I need ATP to: </li></ul><ul><li>- Mechanical: contract my muscle cells, move chromosomes during cellular reproduction </li></ul>-Transport: pump substances across membrane against “current” - Chemical: help endergonic reactions (monomers to polymers)
