The Bad: you are in denial
Just because you don’t see it, does not mean it’s not there
Any IPv6 capable device can become a rogue router, blackholing your network
ISPs: people will tunnel IPv6 over your network
You are already running IPv6, you just don’t know it yet

NAT does not scale:Network Address Trouble
There are only 224 private addresses
NAT = nuisance
double NAT = nightmare
NAT eats port numbers
At 200 connections per client, NAT will fan out to max 300 private addresses / public address
NAT has high engineering and operations cost

Sleazy IP address salesman
At IPv4 end of life (May 2011):
Hoarding of last IPv4 addresses
Aftermarket / black market for addresses
Routing fragmentation
New entrants forced to IPv6 only, while content providers not ready -> new clumsy solutions will emerge

First: everybody spends money (implement dual stack IPv6)
Then: some pick the rewards (more address space, phase out IPv4)
