It’s a jungle in there for pets ashidden dangers lurk aroundevery corner!

We know the potential hazardsfor ourselves, but our pets don’tand it is up to us to provide asafe space for them!

Look around your sewing room.How many hazards can you spot?Check out all the dangers.Keep your pets safe!Use the following pages as a guide!

Pins and Needles (usually found on thefloor) and seam rippers can stick & cutpads on paws!

Threads and some with needlesattached can be swallowed andcause real problems – even death!

Keep sharp blades and points outof reach!

Sewing Machines and Sergers can befascinating for a cat as they watchthe needles go up and down, but if apaw gets in the way – that is notgood!

Fabric piles are a great place for a petto sleep unless the pile consists ofunfinished objects (UFO’s). Mostinclude pins!

Hot irons can cause serious burns!Fusible web sheets, yarn and braidmay cause gastric problems if eaten.

Beads, buttons, charms, rosettes, orany kind of small embellishment isnot good to chew or swallow.
