    3. 3. CCC Confer Mission <ul><li>To provide the California Community Colleges system with the highest quality Web conferencing technology and services in support of meetings, collaboration and e-learning environments. </li></ul>

About CCC Confer <ul><li>Located at Palomar College in San Marcos, California </li></ul><ul><li>Funded from a grant from the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office </li></ul><ul><li>Offers the CCC system a viable means to meet and collaborate at a distance </li></ul><ul><li>Available to all staff, faculty and administrators in the California Community Colleges system </li></ul>

What Is e-Conferencing? <ul><li>Groups can potentially see, hear, text chat, present and share information in a collaborative manner </li></ul><ul><li>All view a shared document, stream audio and/or video, use VoIP, or use a Web-based chat technology </li></ul><ul><li>Presenter can present content over the Internet using a form of slide show presentation, Web-based chat and streaming audio and/or video. </li></ul><ul><li>Students view the presentation by logging into the Web conference, and communicate with the moderator either through their phones or through e-based chat. </li></ul>

More about e-Conferencing <ul><li>Presenter can interact with participants, view attendee lists and manage the communication during the event. </li></ul><ul><li>Real-time viewing and/or modification of shared documents and files through the Internet. </li></ul><ul><li>No special software is required. </li></ul><ul><li>A session can be archived, allowing everything to be played back verbatim. </li></ul>
