  • What is the Arts Action Plan?
  • The Arts Action Plan is... 1) A long term strategy for sustaining Northeast Minneapolis for the arts 2) Well researched, supported by 3) A good start!
  • How it came about... 1) Core consultant team, Jerry Allen and Elena Brokaw 2) Focus groups, Technical Advisory Committee, Steering Committee3) Major funders: The McKnight Foundation, Wells Fargo, Hillcrest Development, Shamrock Properties, General Mills 4) Driven by artists and for artists 5) Lots of community participation (Over 100 participants)
  • Recommendations & Strategies The plan put forward recommendations - a mix of short term and long term goals (see sheet)
  • Progress so far...Lots of the big steps accomplished!!!
