  • 38. Protein Synthesis Importance Protein Synthesis is important because without it, we would not be able to function basically. Our body is made up of proteins. Proteins are the reason we can do what we do. Without proteins we would not be able to do simple things such as moving an arm. Proteins are essential to life and without transcription and translation we would not have proteins.
