Hope they help. Its never too late to start putting some money aside for the big day, unless, erm, its like a daybefore Valentines Day. Even if you have a week left, maybe you could save a portion of fundseveryday so that come Val. Day, you have something set aside for it and have something to workwith. In addition to that, at the end of each day, perhaps you could have a rummage through anychange you may have and pick out the lowest denominators, which could then go into the kitty forValentines Day.Got any items lying around that you really dont need? Did you get any presents for Xmas that youdont want? Then consider giving them a new home by selling them on eBay or Amazon. Dontunderestimate what people out there are willing to buy. What you dont want is exactly whatsomeone else might be looking for. You could also visit charity or vintage shops, look around foritems to buy and sell them (hopefully for profit) on eBay or Amazon. Maybe you could give aportion of any profits you make to the charity you bought the items from? Just an idea. Are you a smoker? Well, could you buy two or three less packs a week? Not only would you besaving money for Valentines Day, but youd be doing something good for you health-wise. Thesame thing could go for chocolates, wine, biscuits, take-aways, magazines, etc. Im not saying youshould completely give these things up, that decisions up to you --- but you could save quite a bitand would be catching two birds with one stone (saving money, plus having money to celebrateVal. Day).Rather than buy a Valentines Day poem or love letter, consider writing one. Instead of buying acard, create one. Its extra special and more unique.Times have been trying for lots of us financially. Theres no denying that. However, its stillpossible to have a fabulous Valentines Day by saving towards it a bit at a time.Oh and p.s., these Valentines Day money saving tips are really not just for February 14th. Its amethod of saving that you can apply to other things you might need funds for: a pair of shoes, aholiday, for Mothers Day, etc.For more inspiration, read my blog at: Ideas For Valentines Day
