2. Shop The Bogo’s!!! A BOGO is a buy one get one free sale. There are 2 kinds of BOGO sales based on where you live. Where I am we have what is called a true BOGO. You pay for one item and the other is free. In other areas you pay half price for each item.
3. How Do I Use Coupons with A BOGO? You may use 1 manufacture’s coupon per item. You may use 1 Store coupon per item. If you are in the land of True BOGO you must buy 2 items. If you do not have true BOGO you may buy only one of the items.
4. More BOGO Coupon Rules The following rules apply to true BOGO. If you have a BOGOcoupon you can use it on a BOGO sale and get both items FREE. The Manufacture pays for one and the store pays for the other. If you have a Buy 2 Get One Free coupon you may buy 4 items on BOGO and pay for 1. You get 2 free from the BOGO sale. You get 1 free from your coupon. You pay for the remaining 1.
5. Simplify BOGO more please! In this Scenario Water is BOGO for $4. If you have 2 manufacture’s coupons that read $1 off 1 you can use both. You would pay $2 for 2 waters. If you have 2 store coupons that read $1 off 1 you can use bothin addition to your 2 manufacture’s coupons to get both waters free.
6. One More Bogo Question Can I use a $1 off 2 coupon with a BOGO sale? As long as you buy 2 items yes.
7. What About A 10 For $10 Sale? You do not have to buy 10 to get the sale price. You can use 1 manufacture’s coupon and 1 store coupon per item you buy. In most Publix stores you can buy 10 of a theme not 10 of the same product in a 10 for $10 sale. EX: If General Mills Cereal is 10 for $10 you don’t have to buy all Cheerios!
8. Overage Overage –The difference when the coupon value is greater than the value of the product you are buying. Publix does not have a corporate policy on Overage. This will be up to your store. You are not supposed to receive cash back. If you know you will have overage purchase items to use that money. A gift card would be a good suggestion.
9. Manager Override There are some things that will require a manager override: If you exceed $50 worth of coupons If you have more coupons than items in your cart.
11. How Do I Get Ready For The Store? Step One:Check the Matchup to see what you want. Step Two:Make a list. Step Three:Clip or pull your coupons. Step Four:Put your coupons in an envelope or carrier. Step Five:Shop!
