    • public speaking manifesto10 presentation rules you must obeyHi, my name is Akash and I’m a presentation skills coach and author of “PublicSpeaking Secrets of the Champions”. The Public Speaking Manifesto contains 10rules that your audience expects you to stick to.Akash Kariahttp://www.CommunicationSkillsTips.com
    • 1. Respect my time. Start and end on time2. Value. You will give me valuable content in exchange for my time.3. Preparation. You will prepare thoroughly.4. Honesty. When you don’t know the answer to my question, you’ll be honest and tell me “I don’t know, but I’ll find out for you”.5. Connection. You will connect with me by speaking conversationally instead of speaking down to me.
    • 6. Clarity. Make it simple and straightforward. Skip the jargon.7. Legibility. You will use clear large fonts so I don’t have to squint from the back of the room.8.Visuals. You’ll use powerful, compelling visuals to help me remember your points9. Delivery. You’ll try to connect with me instead of reading off your Powerpoint.10. You’ll pass this manifesto to at least one other friend 
