Once upon a time there was a sheep named Eric. When it came to sheep – Eric was very impatient, particularly at shearing time.

One day the shearers arrived. All the sheep were rounded up into pens ready to be shorn.

On this particular day there were 25 sheep waiting to be shorn. Eric was at the back of the line. Eric decided that he would not wait his turn. Each time the shearer had shorn one sheep - Eric would sneak past two other sheep in the line.
