  • 2. You’re looking at a big stretch of Karragarra.
  • 3. You can stick to yourself or be part of a friendly community. It’s up to you.
  • 4. Karragarras’ esplanade
  • 5. You’ll find curlews, lorikeets, kookaburras, butcher birds..............
  • 6. Plovers, ducks& magpies because the quiet, clean environment
  • 7. Encourages them.
  • 8. That’s Lamb Island that you’re looking at.
  • 9. You get abundant sea creatures like dolphins, turtles, dugongs...
  • 10. Putting all the islands together you can play golf, bowls, cricket, soccer, tennis etc
  • 11. At low tide you can walk on sandbars around the island
  • 12. You could fly in/out for work. Live on the island. Be near Brisbane. Imagine that.
  • 13. Lamb. You live in a country town atmosphere.
  • 14. Can you almost feel the gentle rocking of the water?.....
  • 15. You, your spouse, the kids......fun times together
  • 16. To quote an island resident(Darren)-“on the islands families tend to be closer”
  • 17. This is where you launch your boat on Lamb.
  • 18. At night sit on your porch and listen to the curlews’ song.
  • 19. Of course you get mains power, land line phone, broadband, town water and garbage collection.
  • 20. The clean, quiet environment attracts a variety of birds and other wildlife.
  • 21. If you lived on Lamb Island you would be 1 of 300 or so residents.
