Community Service Day Slideshow - Presentation Transcript

    1. Supt. Deb Henton, and high school students Ashley Blanchard and Brandy Waletzko picked up trash along Flink Ave. in North Branch on Friday morning, May 15. In roughly an hour, enough had been collected to stuff the bed of a city pick-up truck. More high school students followed, and completed the clean-up all the way to 412th.
      • STEP program assistant Cindy Lelm, and students Ben Anderson, and Amanda Phipps painted the restrooms at the Stacy Lions Park. STEP students also cleaned up and did some painting at Doyle Field.
    2. Jordan Charbonneau spent the day in Sunrise cleaning up Sunrise Park. Students also painted bleachers and pavilions, and beautified the Richard Widmark museum.
    3. ALC students Nick Doerr and Austin George, and teacher Scott Miller, cleaned up Oak Grove cemetery in Harris.
    4. Eighth graders Emily Trunk, Kelsey Coleman, Jessica Wicklund, Johanna Kneen, and Gabby Ruddy ham it up at Harder Park in North Branch. They also raked leaves.
    5. At the Sunrise River School on May 14, volunteers were recognized for their service to students.
