UNEXCUSED ABSENCES <ul><li>If your absence is unlawful or unexcused you do NOT have the right to make up or turn in work. </li></ul><ul><li>You will not get credit for projects due. </li></ul><ul><li>An unexcused tardy is an unlawful absence! </li></ul><ul><li>After 3 days without an excuse, the absence will remain unexcused even with a Doctor’s Note. </li></ul>

  15. 15. Dress Code <ul><li>Sleeveless clothing is not permitted. </li></ul><ul><li>Transparent, low cut (v-neck or scoop neck) and bare midriff or rear torso clothing is prohibited </li></ul><ul><li>No undergarments are to be exposed. </li></ul><ul><li>No torn/ripped clothing </li></ul>

Dress Code (continued) <ul><li>Skirts, shorts and dresses must be no shorter than mid thigh (tip of finger when arm extended down along leg) </li></ul><ul><li>Clothing must be proper fitting and not impede movement </li></ul><ul><ul><li>No excessive heels </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>No low rise pants </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Clothing may no be too tight </li></ul></ul><ul><li>No outerwear (exterior coats) without express permission of the office. </li></ul>

(Hats, bandanas, sweatbands, dew rags and hoods are not to be worn indoors.) </li></ul><ul><li>Items may be confiscated by any staff member. </li></ul><ul><li>No pajamas or sleepwear. </li></ul>

  19. 19. Footwear <ul><li>Shoes are to be worn at all times on school grounds and in the building. </li></ul><ul><li>Flip flops must be leather as per board policy. </li></ul>

PDA’s Public Display of Affection <ul><li>Public displays of affection are not appropriate for the school setting. </li></ul><ul><li>Students need to exhibit dignity and respect for themselves and other students. </li></ul><ul><li>Public kissing will result in a minimum of one PM detention being issued. </li></ul>
  21. 21. Food and Drink <ul><li>Students are not to have food and drink in hallways, classrooms or other areas of the school outside the cafeteria ! </li></ul><ul><li>EXCEPTION: </li></ul><ul><li>Water in clear containers </li></ul><ul><li>with no additives. </li></ul>

Acceptable Use Policy <ul><li>Students may use computers only in accordance with the acceptable use policy. </li></ul><ul><li>Students are not permitted to use school equipment to: </li></ul><ul><li>Access prohibited web sites </li></ul><ul><li>Access personal e-mail accounts </li></ul><ul><li>Utilize IM (instant messaging) </li></ul><ul><li>Duplicate or copy any materials that are copyrighted or not permitted under our policy. </li></ul>

Student Drivers <ul><li>Only students with valid permits may park anywhere on the Susquenita School District Campus. </li></ul><ul><li>Vehicles are subject to search by the school administration. </li></ul><ul><li>Parking on campus is a privilege which may be suspended or revoked for cause. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Tardies to school </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Driving violations </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Leaving Campus without permission </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Drivers may be assessed fines for violations in addition to disciplinary action. </li></ul>

Detention <ul><li>Detention will be held from 2:50 - 5:15 this year due to a change in bus transportation. </li></ul><ul><li>Detention is held every Tuesday and Thursday in Room 405 (Mrs. Garver.) </li></ul><ul><li>If you cut a detention or arrive late, further detentions will be added. Additionally, ISS or OSS may be issued. </li></ul>
