    • Medical Psychology is also called as Clinical Health Psychology or Health care Psychology, which reveals about the idea of body and the mind.
    • This says that the body and mind are one and have a belief that the corporeal and the physical bodies are the single and by no means are they different.
    • Socrates introduced the Greeks to this idea in many of his works. The main aim of Medical Psychology is to distribute the knowledge to all branches of psychology and medicine in the prevention, treatment, assessment of all forms of physical diseases.

    • Medical psychology also helps in the determination of biochemical, genetics, and physiologic factors of illnesses and reaction to illness.
    • There are special behavioral methods which are used to help the person match coping and the management skill to the person's character, abilities and personality style.
    • The main function of the Medical Psychology is to determination of personality styles which is copied and the examination of the attitude of an individual.
