This was a customer facing position, with direct responsibilities for both customer relationship management, and tightly controlling scope and budgets to exceed projected gross profit margins. •Selected by leadership team to on-board and train new hires on project tools/methodology, and to mentor new project managers on their first projects. •Routinely called upon to provide project turn-around expertise on troubled projects, with a talent for regaining customer confidence, and analyzing broken processes. •Active contributor in the development of the enterprise PMO, providing innovation in the creation of processes and tools.   2. 2. TEKsystems, Inc.  Nashville, TN (continued) Notable projects & achievements: •Community Health Systems – General Financials Conversion. Delivered project that was responsible for converting 50 newly acquired hospitals from their legacy financial systems to the CHS standard. Managed a $2 million infrastructure budget, and by reassigning facility assessment responsibilities from a 3rd party vendor to the local IT staff, the project experienced a savings of $150k in travel and resource costs. Selected to represent the Special Projects team on the CHS Enterprise Change Advisory Board. •Community Health Systems – Plano, TX Data Center Relocation. Assigned this project after the originally assigned PM was removed from project, without a transition plan executed. For some of the 30 facilities involved in the move, this data center was processing up to $50 million worth of revenue per month. In addition to completing the move without any unscheduled server or application outages, the relationship between the Special Projects and Network Engineering teams was firmly restored. •Gambro Healthcare (Davita) – Corporate Asset Cycle Plan. Managed the cycle plan for 1200 systems, with data migration and asset disposition, at 565 kidney dialysis centers located across the US. Negotiated with the enterprise support team to provide a resource to the project team during the planning and pilot phases of the project. The risks that were mitigated by engaging the support team resulted in the project setting a record for the lowest number of post deployment trouble calls, and was adopted as a Best Practice by the enterprise PMO. •State of Tennessee - Department of Human Services Refresh. Cycle plan for the deployment of 2200 systems across the State of Tennessee. Due to business drivers, two weeks before the start of implementation the original Phase I schedule of 22 days was crashed to just 6 days. Utilization of change management to control the schedule change and the increased resource costs, enabled the project to still be delivered on time and under budget. •T-Mobile Cellular – Dell Field Unit Replacement. Due to a global constraint of system boards, Dell had to change to whole unit replacements. Prior to this project Dell did not have a process in place to receive whole unit replacements back into their Austin, TX receiving department. Dell was presented a logistics process that was not only approved for the project, but adopted as a Best Practice by Dell. Regional Project Manager Jan 1998 – May 2000 Inacom, Inc.  Nashville, TN •SunTrust Bank – Y2K Remediation. Managed Y2K technology remediation for all banking facilities in Tennessee & Alabama. Delivery teams for Tennessee and Alabama region won an award from SunTrust for having the lowest amount of deployment issues across the southeast United States. Project Manager Feb 1997 – Dec 1998 GE Capital ITS  Nashville, TN •Tyson Foods – SAP Remediation. SAP technology remediation for 1300 systems at Tyson locations in 22 states. Mentored team that developed data migration processes that resulted in no user data lost.
