  • Project Bike Trip works to enhance lives, create opportunities, and build sustainable communities through bicycle education.
  • • 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Santa Cruz, CA• PBT programs offer hands-on and academic bicycle education in mainstream schools, while introducing youth to the bicycle as a means for personal health, environmental health, and fun.
  • Bike Club at School • Targets middle school students • Currently serves more than 40 students annually • BCS is an after-school program that gets kids out on their bikes, exploring local trails and bikeways, as well as the local cycling industry.
  • Bike Tech at School• Targets high school students• Currently serves more than 100 students annually, and growing!• BTS is a one-year bicycle technical education course that is offered to high school students within the daily schedule of their public high school.
  • • Teaches students the mechanical fundamentals of bicycle assembly and repair• Introduces students to a multitude of industry career paths
  • Curriculum Classroom
  • • BTS provides an atmosphere where students get to experience the building blocks of a career while they discover an activity they can participate in for their entire life.
