  • 1. Inserting a Picture Using Open Office and Linux
  • 2. Place cursor where picture will be inserted
  • 3. Click the Insert menu
  • 4. Under Picture menu select From File
  • 5. Select picture to be inserted
  • 6. Click Open
  • 7. Right-click anywhere on the inserted picture
  • 8. Select picture
  • 9. Select Type tab
  • 10. Check Keep ratio
  • 11. Enter ideal height of picture
  • 12. Select Crop tab
  • 13. Crop from left and right until width and height are ideal
  • 14. Select Wrap tab
  • 15. Click Optimal to wrap text around picture
  • 16. Right-click anywhere on the inserted picture
  • 17. Under Alignment select Left
  • 18. Formatting complete
