Inserting a Picture
Using Open Office
and Linux
Place cursor where
picture will be inserted
Click the Insert menu
Under Picture menu
select From File
Select picture to be
inserted
Click Open
Right-click anywhere
on the inserted picture
Select picture
Select Type tab
Check Keep ratio
Enter ideal height
of picture
Select Crop tab
Crop from left and
right until width and
height are ideal
Select Wrap tab
Click Optimal to wrap
text around picture
Right-click anywhere
on the inserted picture
Under Alignment
select Left
Formatting complete
Open Office on Linux

  7. 7. Right-click anywhere on the inserted picture
  8. 8. Select picture
  9. 9. Select Type tab
  10. 10. Check Keep ratio
  11. 11. Enter ideal height of picture
  12. 12. Select Crop tab
  13. 13. Crop from left and right until width and height are ideal
  14. 14. Select Wrap tab
  15. 15. Click Optimal to wrap text around picture
  16. 16. Right-click anywhere on the inserted picture
  17. 17. Under Alignment select Left
  18. 18. Formatting complete
