    • Read/annotate
    • Separate into stages of thought/sections
    • Write summary of stages
    • Choose 2-3 key phrases to quote
    • Highlight individuals who must be mentioned
    • Determine thesis of article
    • Circle all key words/ideas to be mentioned
    • Use all this to draft summary
