Romanian bills Nicolae IORGA – Romanian historian, politician, literary critic, memoirist, poet and playwright George ENESCU - composer, violinist, pianist, conductor and teacher Many of Enescu's works were influenced by Romanian folk music, his most popular compositions being the two Romanian Rhapsodies (1901–2), the opera Œdipe (1936), and the suites for orchestra.

Mihai EMINESCU – the most famous Romanian national poet, novelist and journalist Eminescu was an active member of the Junimea literary society and he worked as an editor for the newspaper Timpul ("The Time"), the official newspaper of the Conservative Party (1880–1918).His poetry was first published when he was 16 and he went to Vienna to study when he was 19. Notable works include Luceafărul (The Evening Star), Odă în metru antic (Ode in Ancient Meter) and the five Letters (Epistles/Satires).
