To become proficient in any CAD software one must use it frequently and become familiar with its command. Therefore, come to class 10-15 minutes early and review previous class materials. Use spare stations during other classes (with the professor’s permission) to review outside of class time.

UCS Icon: The User Coordinate System tells the user where in space they are drawing. (The standard setting is where the “y” coordinate is vertical and the “x” coordinate is horizontal). More experienced users can change this setting in order to draw a 3-dimensional object.
