  • 21. VERBOS• You probably noticed that they all end in -ir• Maybe you also noticed that they are all stem changers.• Hopefully you remember that –ir stem changers are the ones you have to watch out for when forming the gerund and the preterit tense.
  • 22. • One of the verbs is unusual because it has an accent in the infinitive form, which carries through to some of its conjugations: FREÍR
  • 23. • Another verb is unusual because it has the letters GU before the ending, and sometimes when conjugating, the letter U is dropped, but most of the times it stays put: SEGUIR
  • 24. • A couple of the verbs are different because they are usually found in the reflexive form, meaning the infinitive is introduced with “se” at the end, and when conjugating, you have to remember to include the reflexive pronoun in the correct location: VESTIRSE DIVERTIRSE
  • 25. • All of the verbs on the list, with two exceptions, are E to I stem changers. The two that are not are: DIVERTIRSE (E to IE) MORIR (O to UE)
