    • Christmas Eve in Poland Family visits us. We open presents. We share a wafer. We sing carols. We eat Christmas dishes.

      • We visit our family. We go for walks. Sometimes we sing carols. We eat dinner.

      • Traditional Polish dishes are:
      • Carp- Karp
      • Mushroom soup- Zupa grzybowa
      • Cheese cake-Sernik
      • Sweets- słodycze
    • Decorations at homes and public places.
      • Christmas tree decorations are: b aubles on the Christmas tree, bells, angels, the star, lights, gingerbread cookies . In the streets there are big Christmas trees decorated with lights.
    • Christmas Presents We open presents in the evening on Christmas Eve. We get many different presents. Presents are great 
    • New Year’s Eve and New Yea’r Day
      • New Year’s Eve is on 31st December. People go to parties, drink champagne. We go outside to see the fireworks display.
