She received her Ph.D. from the School Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, 3:00-4:00pmof Information and Library Science at theUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC- Rowe Management Bldg,CH). Currently, she is PI on an OCLC/ALISE 6100 University Ave, Rm. 4025, 4th Floorgrant funded study, “The Biblioblogosphere: AComparison of Communication and PreservationPerceptions and Practices between Blogging LIS This presentation provides anScholar-Practitioners and LIS Scholar- overview of the decisions, strategiesResearchers.” She is also PI on another ALISE- and protocols informing the researchfunded study looking at information and libraryscience faculty and students interactions via design for four studies on blogs andFacebook. She serves as the North American Facebook in Academe, recentlyacademic expert on BlogForever, a co-fundedEuropean Commission project on blog completed or underway.preservation.
