  5. 5. LSC (Local Story Committee) Tasks & Timeline• Develop theme and text• Hire exhibit designer• Collect images and artifacts from communities (April-May)• Collaborate on exhibit-related promotional and educational events• Completion Date Goal: October 1

Artifact/Photo Forms• Forms will be emailed to the Community leadership.• Forms are to be filled out electronically and returned via email.• Be in contact with your community historian or archivist.• Send out an appeal to your community seeking their personal archives and stories. * See National Exhibit example distributed at meeting

Exhibit PromotionCollaboration: • State Archives, local non-profits, your ministries, ecumenical groups, local historical societies, affiliated universities.Docent training: • Seeking Sisters, students, donors, alumni in or near Sacramento area; flexible scheduling. • Script will be provided.Lectures, tours etc.: • Community-arranged tours with “Sister Greeter/Historian” • Panel discussions at exhibit venue. • Have in exhibit an audio-kiosk featuring professionally-recorded narratives of sisters’ historical accounts of their early California foundations.Traditional and Social Media outlets: • Community newsletters, Facebook, Community websites etc. Feedback is wanted on decision to provide a permanent location for the Local Story Exhibit after its closing.
