  2. 2. An Essay is a piece of writing on a particular subject. It is an original piece of composition.it is the best device to test a person’s written expression. An essay consists of a number of paragraphs,all related to one topic. Thus a number of well thought,well written and well arranged paragraphs make an essay.

While writing an essay ,the writer must bear 4 points in mind :  Think about the subject and take down on paper all the facts and ideas related to the topic.  Arrange your facts and ideas in the most presentable manner. Once all your ideas are well arranged, the outline of your essay is ready.  Following the outline ,write your essay keeping the word limit in your mind.  Revise your essay before submitting it. Give it finishing touches wherever required.
