Jerry Duling Delivered unprecedented results by completing the acquisition two years ahead of schedule, and 20% above the target.  Developed five year plan to increase revenues from 45M to 100M. Prepare for acquisition.  Increased revenues 55% within 19 months to 70M and completed exit acquisition.  Modified existing logo and brand to bring company into modern sophistication.  Shaped a new media plan and fashioned new company collateral material to support the market segments.  Produced a new company web-site with enhanced search potential and created a company web-store.  Refocused the Customer Service organization and incrementally added program and project management to complete its development.  Forged relationships with major OEM’s within the telecom sector and successfully added global revenue to company portfolio.

Transformed the company from a 3% annual growth performer with 13.5% net operating income, into a 33% annual growth performer with net income exceeding 20%. Company was acquired as a result of increased revenues and improved EBITA.  In addition to sales and marketing responsibilities, took over company operations and assisted in the development of internal business systems and accounting procedures.  Restructured corporation and assisted in additional debt and equity funding for growth.  Wrote sales and business plan and financial modeling for internal and external funding uses.  Developed marketing campaign and editorial relationships within recycling and environmental communities.  Created brand awareness of “One Call, One Company, One Hundred Percent Commitment” in industry.  Developed web site and flash presentations on mini disc business cards.  Created national alliances with major manufacturers within plastics and recycling equipment industries.  Represented company as speaker for industry trade shows and associations.

Sarasota, Florida Jerry Duling  Retained as COO with responsibility for branding, marketing and strategic relations for this pre-IPO local fulfillment entity. Substantially developed business plan, developed and delivered road show presentation for first- and second-round funding.  Due to market correction, took over day-to-day operations of the Assist Companies, one of the targeted acquisitions and lead a sales effort that resulted in a 26% increase in revenue in 18 months.  Restructured cash management, identified inappropriate expenses, and reorganized sales and sales compensation increasing EBITA by 15%.  Conducted due diligence to acquire certain assets from the successors to –– specifically the Envisiant eCRM suite –– to enable a repositioning of Concentriq as an ASP.  Managed merger of the Assist Companies with Celergy Networks. Recruited a permanent successor to enable me to relinquish day-to-day responsibilities.

Houston, Texas; Sarasota, Florida Jerry Duling  Selected for an assignment with Interactive Solutions as VP of Sales and Marketing to evaluate and analyze the market potential for a wearable computer.  Promptly recruited a world-class executive sales team in automotive, engineering, and government sectors.  Instituted new sales strategies, controls and metrics, and transitioned the function from a product to a solutions focus, nearly tripling sales and improving margins by 20%.  Launched a re-engineering initiative to correct over heating issues.  Repositioned the wearable computer to a computer designed for the hearing impaired increasing market opportunity by 40%.  Resort Management Systems, a division of JJ Duling operates certain resort concessions in Florida.

Atlanta, Georgia; Houston, Texas  Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of holding company Jerry Duling comprised of three public telecommunications subsidiaries. Increased company revenues to over 30 million with an EBITA of 14%. Directed company to successful acquisition.  Quest provided the first Prepaid Calling Card in USA. Branded as Liberty® The Prepaid Calling Card, it was the initial and primary card placed with major retailers.  Quest, in a strategic alliance with Harris Corporation, developed technology and market presence in the US Prison PBX marketplace.  Quest provided US and International long-distance service. 1988 - 1991 CEO, President Tele-America Communications, Inc. (USF&G) Las Vegas, Nevada: Atlanta, Georgia  Retained by USF&G to turn-around financially troubled subsidiary.
