    • A strong desire to satisfy any bodily need or craving
    • Desire for Food or Drink
    • A strong wish or urge
    • Needs vrs Wants
    • Clothing, Music, Intellectual, Aesthethics
    • Love and sex sense of belonging
    • Maslows hierachy

  • Senses
    • Your appetite can be stimulated by the sight and smell of food or even mention of food
    • Taste and smell are closely linked together.
    • Smell-olfactory nerve-Brain-Frontal aspect of brain and also linked to limbic system
  • Hunger
    • When your stomach is empty, signals are sent from the stomach to the brain. These signals will send you in search of food.
    • Typically you would get hungry at the same time every day because your body knows your schedule.
    • As you eat the stomach become full and the stretching sends signals to the brain that the stomach is full so stop eating
    • This may take a few minutes. You may however carry on eating and end up being too full.

    • Practice, consistent repetitive practice, you become the person you want to be!!

    • The repetition of anything good or bad causes the habit to become confirmed in our lives and these fixed habits determine our character.
    • These determine our choices which in turn effect physical and chemical changes in our brain
