Introduction• Fastest growing sector.• Consumption increased from 17.955 billion liters in 2000 to 28.651 billion liters in 2005.• NRDC in 1999 concluded that bottled water is no safer than tap water.• According to EPI 40% of bottled water starts as tap water with only difference of added minerals that has no marked health benefits.
