    • ECATT
    • What is eCATT
      • eCATT (extended  Computer  Aided Test Tool) is an SAP testing tool to automate and test business scenarios in SAP R / 3
    • How does it work
      • Each test which is performed generates a detailed log that give the test process and the results .
      • If the test succeeds without error we will say that the scenario is mapped in SAP correctly.
      • If the  test results  shows error the problem may be analyzed with the error log generated by the system
    • What all eCATT can do?
      • Test transactions, reports and scenarios.
      • Call BAPIs and function modules.
      • Test remote systems.
      • Check authorizations (user profiles).
      • Test updates (database, applications, GUI).
      • Set up customizing tables.
      • Test the effect of changes to customizing settings.
      • Perform load testing.
      • Check system messages.
      • There can be several versions of Test Scripts, which allows different implementations with different releases.
      • The separation of Test Scripts, Test Data & System Data allows for a considerable degree of reuse.
