Google Panda Algorithm Google Panda is a change to the Googles search results ranking algorithm that was first released in February2011.The change aimed to lower the rank of "low-qualitysites", and return higher-quality sites near the top of the search results this call "Page Layout Algorithm“.
  • 6. Penguin Algorithm The Penguin Update rewards high-quality, relevant sites while penalizing poor-quality sites that use “black hat” SEO tactics to achieve high organic listings. Black hat SEO tactics targeted by Google include: over-optimization, keyword stuffing, and link schemes, all of which seek to artificially inflate a website’s organic rankings. The intended effects of this update: Reduce “Webspam” Branding Improve the organic visibility of quality sit Incentivize websites to provide users with valuable content Encourage “white hat” SEO tactics Like most Google changes, the Penguin Update has the underlying goal of enhancing users’ search experiences. When users win, Google wins. Due to its newness, however, it is hard to quantify the exact impact the Penguin Update will have on organic rankings. Google predicts only 3% of all search queries will be affected, yet many digital marketers are already seeing drastic drops in website traffic.
