Data Ownership : As a Paychex client, you have access to all of your data. Every report is available to you from the day you start as a client. Paychex does not purge your data.
Start When You Want To : Paychex balances everything to Jan 1st of the current year. This allows Paychex to take full liability for taxes mid-quarter and mid-year. As a new client of Paychex, you choose the start date based on your needs, not ours.

You also don’t need to call a customer service rep to get the reports you need. Custom reports can be exported to Excel.
