Welcome to the second trimester of Modular Lab. Modular Lab is a hands-on cooperative and collaborative student-driven class. Modular Lab 2008-2009

There’s got to be a better way to learn . . .?

Thomas Friedman’s examination of the influences shaping business and competition in a technology-fueled global environment is a call to action for governments, businesses and individuals who must stay ahead of these trends in order to remain competitive.

“ We MUST build a strong infrastructure and capacity for preparing students, workers and citizens with 21st century skills.” “ Create a significant Global Competitiveness Research and Development Fund for U.S. education, and target a quarter of the funding to innovation in 21st century skills. “ *The Partnership for 21 st Century Skills YOUR FUTURE?!

Students will experience 3-4 various ‘rotations’ during their 12 week experience. Partnerships will vary and will be selected by Mr. Quinlan.

Teams will be required to ‘manufacture’ a final product from each module station. Those products will be discussed and determined between students and Mr. Quinlan.
