Power 4 Home - How To Build Solar Panel - Presentation Transcript
The environment seems
to cry out for help each
and everyday as what is
evident on the news and
issues that surround us.
It is very important to
consider the effects that
man has created upon it
and somehow correct it.
Learning how to build a
solar panel as an
independent energy source is a start that would benefit both
you and the environment.

The steps towards having your own solar panel in your
backyard is actually quite simple. You just have to make
sure that you have everything that you need in place and
that you have enough sunshine to make everything work out
for you.
The first thing you need to remember on how to build a solar
panel is to have a small solar panel available. Make sure it is
in the range of 12 volts and up, ideally, a 16-volt panel do
great. You can find this at local stores or a small marina. It
would actually be cheap, just around a $100. Then it would
be time to look for the battery. A rechargeable 12 volt lead
or acid battery would make things easier for you as these
would be for constant and continuous usage.
You should then think about how to build a solar panel with
ease and safety. This time, you would want to consider
having a battery box that will protect your battery when it
emits power if you are placing it in a small area or if you
have children around. Don't forget to also include a DC
meter with a similar voltage of your battery and input. This
will help convert the energy towards the sources around the
home. An inverter is also a good idea if you have AC
appliances.
Next is to attach the meter and the DC input to the top of
the battery box with a handheld drill. An insulated wire
should connect the meter to the battery with the first wire
connected to the negative output. Same process goes with
the DC inlet and the solar panel. Lastly, to complete the
process on how to build your solar panel you should close
the lid tight and you're ready to take it out in the sun.
