Black is Hot in the Summer
I remember growing up in the Hot! Hot! South were the temperature changes as
soon as you get out of bed. Growing up in Louisiana I can remember so many
things my parents told me like “cover your head when it’s cold” and now most
notably I remember them saying “Black is hot in the Summer.”
As the temperature rises we have a beautiful color palette to choose from to
compliment the beautiful weather, but if you are like me, you may find yourself
drawn to the color black. I also remember people always saying “black is
beautiful”, but in a different context. Black is sleek, classic, timeless and ultra
chic. I can’t wait to get in a pair of leather “skinny” pants myself, but I am trying
to hold off for the winter before I go all out “Fray” on everyone with a pair of black
leather leggings and a matching hoodie cape. That is a bit far…but everyone
knows what I am saying, Black IS Hot in the Summer, but we love wearing black
during the summer months anyway…just stay cool the temperature is hitting 105
degrees, no perspiring.
