  7. 7. Prayer of Confession<br />Lord Jesus, for those times I’vejudged others’ Christianity on the basis of my own pre-conceived ideas, please forgive me.<br />
  8. 8. Prayer of Confession<br />Lord Jesus, for those times I’vetalked about loving others while my heart lacked compassion and I walked by on the other side, please forgive me.<br />
  9. 9. Prayer of Confession<br />Lord Jesus, help me to see myself in this parable. Help me to see myself as the one who was once lying on the road in desperate need, the one you reached out to and loved and cared for and graciously restored.<br />
  10. 10. Prayer of Confession<br />Lord Jesus, give me the eyes to see those around me – within this faith community and in the wider community – who are beaten up and need a friend. Help me to be a neighbour to them. Amen.<br />
