  • The strategies 1 (In the office)Rakuten employee should be speak Englishin their office. In other words, if people isJapanese, they must NOT use Japanese.Neither do other country. In Rakutencompany, official language is English.This is a first strategy of Rakuten strategy.
  • Reason that strategy 1.Why Rakuten do thatstrategy?It states that Rakutenis a global company.
  • Employee from other countries.At first, we have to compare the cost ofJapanese and other country.For example, China.In Chinese, Very smart person is working atcertain company. It cost about 40000 yen.In Japanese, as same as before situation.It cost 210000 yen or more.
  • Foreign problemMany foreigner wants to come to Japan andwork at company. But most company´scommon language is Japanese. And theydistress themselves about culture shock andso on.But Rakuten company is not. Rakutencarried out some project that call off allforeign problems.
