  10. 10. www.unnatiblr.org VISION 2020 VISION 2020 SGBS Unnati Foundation, a Section 25 company has been To train and employ incorporated to achieve Vision 2020 by: One Million underprivileged - 300 centres across India youth through - 300 youth per centre per annum ‘Unnati model’ by the year 2020 - In 10 years, reach a million youth
  11. 11. SGBS Unnati Foundation (SUF)• SUF proposes to establish Unnati Centers in different locations in India. Preference is to partner with a local NGO.• In this model, SUF will “Manage and operate the Center”.• The cost of training a youth under SUF model will be only Rs.6000/-. In this model, hostel & food are not offered.• For a typical centre with capacity to train 300 youth per year, the operating cost budget for the first year would be in the range of Rs 15 lakhs.• The plan is to make the Centres self sustaining within a period of 3 years taking into account the subsidy from DGET, recovery from potential employers & a nominal fee from the youth.
