It was born in 1986 upon mixed initiative and by

Chambers of Commerce of Florence and Prato,
Foundation Cassa di Risparmio

as well as in collaboration with the:
Fashion Institute of Technology of the State Uni-
versity of New York.

wich offers orientation meetings, educational visits and promo-
tional events such as “Open Day“ and “Mini Stages“.
Open day are fully dedicated to present polimoda‘s activities through
members of faculty’s and entrepreneurs speeches, case histories
and workshop.
Mini-stages give potential students the chance to attend some of
the classesthey are interested into.

the end of the courses.

2007, polimoda reached to activate
