      • AND I ask you, What are your aspirations for our future and who will champion these aspirations.
      • I am pleased that collectively we are beginning to explore some of these issues. Today is step forward and I am sure we will overcome some of the energy efficiency challenges facing us.

    6. Conclusion: I hope we can all agree that energy efficiency makes good business sense. It makes sense that we defend the integrity of our environment. It makes sense that we grow our economy. Energy efficiency is certainly a factor in enhancing business competitiveness. Much help and incentives exists to improve energy efficiency. Technology solutions can help and they will continue to add solutions over time. Many Energy management systems have demonstrated impressive results. Within each region, clear energy efficiency action plans are needed to improve information and lower barriers to deployment of economic solutions.   WE need to identify barriers and remove them to support a cleaner development. WE supports energy efficiency and given the right fiscal and regulatory frameworks can do more to help governments achieve the objectives of business growth, wealth generation, jobs and environmental improvement. Our Members are prepared to share experience and convey benefits of energy efficiency.   And FINALLY AS MY FORE-FATHER’s WOULD SAY;   LIFE IS ETERNAL ----- ENERGY IS TEMPORARY --- and we have to make sure that we do all we can to protect our futures.
