  • 1. TESTIFY TO THE GOSPEL PASSIONATELY !
  • 2. ACTS 20:21-24 v.21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus. v.22 "And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.
  • 3. ACTS 20:21-24 v.23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. v.24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
  • 4. ASND Acts 20:24 Ngunit hindi ko inaalala ang mga bagay na iyon ni hindi ko itinuturing ang aking buhay na waring sa akin ay mahalaga. Nang sa gayon ay matapos ko ang aking takbuhin na may kagalakan at ang paglilingkod na tinanggap ko sa Panginoong Jesus upang magpatotoo sa ebanghelyo ng biyaya ng Diyos.
  • 5. REASONS YOU MUST TESTIFY TO THE GOSPEL
  • 6. 1. FOR THE LOST TO HAVE FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS AND BE SAVED Acts 20:21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.
  • 7. 2. TO OBEY THE CONVICTION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT Acts 20:22 "And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. Acts 20:22 (NLT) And now, in obedience to the Holy Spirit I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.
  • 8. 3. LIFE IS WORTH NOTHING WITHOUT TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL - To spend and use your life in the most meaningful and most glorifying way
  • 9. 3. LIFE IS WORTH NOTHING WITHOUT TESTIFYING TO HE GOSPEL Acts 20:23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me.   • 10. 3. LIFE IS WORTH NOTHING WITHOUT TESTIFYING TO HE GOSPEL John 15:8 My true disciples produce much fruit. This brings great glory to my Father.
  • 11. 4. TO FULFILL THE TASK FROM THE LORD JESUS Acts 20:23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
  • 12. TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL IS YOUR MINISTRY (MKJV) But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus Christ, to testify fully the gospel of the grace of God.
  • 13. TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL IS YOUR LIFE'S MISSION FROM GOD (GW) But I don't place any value on my own life. I want to finish the race I'm running. I want to carry out the mission I received from the Lord Jesus-the mission of testifying to the Good News of God's kindness.
  • 14. HOW TO BE EFFECTIVE IN TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL
  • 15. 1. BE FEARLESS OF HARDSHIPS AND PERSECUTIONS IN TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL Acts 20:23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me.
  • 16. 2. BE LED AND EMPOWERED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT IN TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL Acts 20:22 "And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.
  • 17. 3. BE CLEAR IN TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL Acts 20:21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.
  • 18. 3. BE CLEAR IN TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL A. REPENTANCE Luke 13:3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
  • 19. 3. BE CLEAR IN TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL B. FAITH IN LORD JESUS Acts 16:30 He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?“ Acts 16:31 They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household."

SALVATION IS GOD'S GRACE AND NOT BY GOOD WORKS AND DOING RIGHTEOUSNESS Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
  • 21. 3. BE CLEAR IN TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL C. SALVATION IS GOD'S GRACE AND NOT BY GOOD WORKS AND DOING RIGHTEOUSNESS Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— Ephesians 2:9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
  • 22. C. SALVATION IS GOD'S GRACE AND NOT BY GOOD WORKS AND DOING RIGHTEOUSNESS Titus 3:4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, Titus 3:5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
  • 23. C. SALVATION IS GOD'S GRACE AND NOT BY GOOD WORKS AND DOING RIGHTEOUSNESS Titus 3:6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, Titus 3:7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
  • 24. 4. BE PASSIONATE IN TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
  • 25. PAUL HAS NO OTHER PASSION Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
  • 26. 1 Corinthians 9:16 (NIV) Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! 1 Corinthians 9:16 (GW) If I spread the Good News, I have nothing to brag about because I have an obligation to do this. How horrible it will be for me if I don't spread the Good News!
  • 27. CONCLUSION: Challenge: Accept and do your task of testifying to the gospel.
