  • Educational Development How we go about supporting staff in learning and teaching
  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hh3C0vyyttk We help people to learn about technology, to develop ideas, skills, solutions and methods that help them learn and teach - collaboratively.
  • Technology has no stopping point. (making sense of what could or should be used) Information is fluid in learning and teaching (information under constant revision) The need for advice. The learning environment changes (society, campus, policy, growth, tools, access) Technology is increasingly personalised (we want, we click, we get)
  • Scribblar Example ✤ Arriving - Jenny attended a workshop, followed up by Lee ✤ Conversation - Internal and departmental discussion around immediate and possible (delete erroneous, focus on essential, plan for generative). Produce design brief for Jenny. ✤ Facilitation - identify possible solutions and test, trial with Jenny, support Jenny in initial use. Evaluate against agreed objectives. ✤ Creating - support materials, online environment ✤ Applying - Co-authoring paper to write up the activity for wider dissemination and feedback - identify further opportunities.
