You can replace your presentation by following the steps listed below:<br />Login to your account<br />Click on My Public Profile from the drop down menu on the top right <br />Select the presentation you want to replace and click on the Edit Content link on the top<br />Click on the Replace Presentation tab<br />Click on the Choose File button to select a file and then click the Upload button <br />You will get a confirmation upon successful conversion. (Please note that the new file will replace the earlier one only if it isafter it has successfully converted.) In case the re-uploaded file fails to convert, the earlier one will continue to work as before.<br />The presentation view page should now display the updated version of your presentation. Please note that the process of replacing the file can take up to 15 minutes. If even after that, you are unable to see the updated file, please clear your browser's cache and try again. Are there any restrictions for replacing files? Can I do this multiple times?
There are no restrictions to the number of times you can replace a file. However, please note that file replacement is a technically complex process and sometimes there may be problems. Therefore, we advise that you keep this to the minimum.<br />Also note, file replacement is allowed for presentations, documents and PDFs but not for videos.<br />
I want to update my uploaded file on SlideShare. Should I replace it or upload it again (i.e. fresh upload)?
If you want to update your file, we suggest you replace the file by following the steps mentioned here. This will preserve the URL, views, comments, favorites etc. for the file. If even after 30 minutes you are unable to see the updated file, please clear your browser's cache and try again. This waiting period applies to both on SlideShare and when your presentations are embedded on external blogs.<br />Also, if you are continuing to see the old file, try opening the presentation URL in a new browser. Sometimes the browser cache causes the old file to appear for a while, even though the replacement was successful. <br />
I replaced my file. I can see the updated file on SlideShare, but the old one is still showing on my blog. Why?

Your presentation statistics (views, embeds, favorites, comments and upload date) remain the same when you replace the file.<br />If the presentation was embedded on a blog, the changes should reflect there as well (though there might be some delay in this). <br />
How do I replace a video file?
It is not possible to replace a video file once it is uploaded. <br />
My SlideShare presentation has a YouTube video embedded in it. What happens if I replace my presentation file?
Videos are retained only if the replaced file contains the same number of slides as before.<br />If the number of slides before and after replacement is different, the videos are removed.<br />
What happens to my Slidecast markings once I replace my presentation file? Are the markings removed?
If the number of slides in your file remains the same after replacement, the Slidecast would retain the mp3 time markings given earlierfrom the original Slidecast.<br />However, if the number of slides changes, the time markings given earlier will be removed. It will no longer remain a Slidecast and you will have to do it over again.<br />We advise that you exercise caution while replacing a Slidecast. <br />
