    Step 1: Download Jing - www.jingproject.com
    Step 2: Install Jing
    Step 3: Setup Screencast Account
    Step 4: Start Jing
  • 10. Take a Screen Capture
    Step 1. Mouse over the Jing sun & click captureStep 2. Click & Drag cursor around what you want to capture.Step 3. Click on the “Capture image”
  • 11. Annotate Screen Capture
    Step 4. Annotate your screen capture with the comment / drawing tools
  • 12. Share a Screen Capture
    Step 5: Upload to screencast, save it to your computer or copy it to paste somewhere
  • 13. Activity 2 – Take a Screen Capture
    Using the job aid provided, take five minutes and use jing to create a screen capture.
  • 14. Create a Screencast
    Before you begin, you will need:
    Quiet environment to record
    A microphone (preferably a usb headset mic)
    A webcam if you have the pro version of Jing
  • 15. Create a Screencast
    Step 1. Mouse over the Jing sun & click captureStep 2. Click & Drag cursor around what you want to capture.Step 3. Click “Capture video”
  • 16. Create a Screencast
    Step 4. Wait for the count down to begin speaking & recording your mouse movementStep 5. Click stop when you are finished recording.
  • 17. Share a Screencast
    Step 6. Preview recording
    Step 7. Name it Step 8. Upload to screencast or save it to your computer
  • 18. Activity 3 – Record a Screencast
    Using the job aid provided, take 15 minutes to create a screencast (with or without audio)
  • 19. Educational Uses of Jing
    Record lectures
    Record announcements
    Record audio/video feedback to students
    Introduce each week and/or assignments
