  • 3. IntroductionAgile PLMs MetaFileRemover ToolIs the file managerspace growing significantly in your Agile PLMdeployment? Are you using AutoVue? If so, this blog maybe just what you’ve been looking for!In addition to storing attachments, the Agile PLM filemanager also stores AutoVue cache files, also calledmetafiles or streaming files. Over time, these cache filescan build up and occupy a significant amount of diskspace. The good news is that these can be removedwithout affecting the system allowing you to recover thatlost disk space.

How It’s DoneMy test Agile PLM system is 9.3.1.2 and is on a windows platform, thus theinstructions will show windows paths.1.Unzip E:AgileAgile931agileDomaintoolsMetaFilesRemover.zip2.Navigate to E:AgileAgile931agileDomaintoolsMetaFilesRemover from acommand window3.If you are going to run this in the future, I would suggest making a batch file(remove.bat) that is similar to the one on the following slide4.Execute the script: remove.bat
