2009 BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD
CATEGORIES - Categories include best books about the

environment, food, guidebooks and tourism.
LANGUAGE - Books must include text in English; bilingual

books are a plus!
REQUIREMENT - For the 2009 Award, books must be

published in 2009 or the last two months of 2008.
NOMINATIONS - Nominations are accepted April 1 -

September 30. Authors are asked to submit their own work.
We request a copy - either a hard copy or a digital version
in PDF. Publishers are asked to nominate no more than two
titles. Multiple submissions are not necessary.
VOTING - Voting takes place via a popular count (one vote

per person!) in November.
