    • IT Concept of Google Person Finder
      • It basically collects all the information about missing people in Japan from all different agencies in Japan, and general people who have information about the people who are missing. It is like a massage board that lets people know their loved ones are safe. Currently with more than 618700 records.
    • Relational Database
      • -It's kind of making relational database in a large scale.
      • The relational database matches data by using common characteristics found within the data set, so it prevents data redundancy.
    • How To Use
      • if you are looking for someone, type in his/her name and it’ll tell you if the person is alive or unknown
    • To Let People Know
      • You can also post someone’s information or your own profile to let friends and families that you or someone is safe.
    • Advantages on main stakeholders
      • -Victims can find their lost families quickly. - this is useful especially for the lost people who do not have ways like social media account or mobile phones to connect to their families or loves.
    • Advantage
      • -Saving time for the agencies because they don't need to contact with others all the time to find out one person. -Prevent the data redundancy between the agencies.
    • Advantage
      • Since it is multilingual, people from all over the world can participate in the system, and that’ll make it a much larger database
    • Advantage
      • People get panicked and try to call their families, friends, loved ones all at the same time and the phone networking has crushed in Japan after the quake. Google person finder is another way of contacting people therefore it’ll prevent data redundancy.
    • Disadvantage
      • -Google has to pay all the money on it to keep it work without making any profit.
    • Disadvantage
      • - it might not be so accurate since it does not allow you to put detailed personal information
    • Reliability
      • Since google person finder can be made by anyone, the information is not reliable, like wikipedia.
    • Wrong Use
      • So I can create someone else’s profile without getting a permission of using his/her photo and address, or I can even create a completely fake profile of no one to confuse people.
    • Privacy
      • They do not ask you permission to put your personal information such as your photo and address
    • ABUSE
      • People may abuse the information on google person finder since it is so private and everyone can look at it.
    • We Need To Be Smart
      • Google person finder is a great tool but with a lot of traps. People may use personal information for something that they are not supposed to use. So we need to be careful and smart to use technology like this.
